At Salon 221, we believe that hair care is not just about the latest trends and techniques, its about creating a personalized experience for each of our clients, focusing on services, customer service, client  & stylist relationship, building trust while taking the time to listen to your needs and preferences, offering you tailored service and a comfortable experience each time you come without waiting.

Salon 221 is located near a quiet residential area with convenient parking directly out front. The owner doesn't take card numbers or book online or consult by phone. You may text any time 24/7  to set up a service appointment or check for same day availability. 

Salon 221 is a unisex boutique salon.

A smaller more personalized experience by an individual service provider that offers quality customer service and attention by an experienced stylist, offering expert services and detailed consultations to offer solutions, guidance and support in meeting your hair care needs .

This salon offers a salon sweet experience but in a full size salon to those that don't want to go into a busy shop. Dropping off and picking up your kids is allowed if needed here. 

The owner is also a crochet artist and is selling her scarves in the salon for all genders and on Poshmark that would make great gifts for yourself and others. The current scarf inventory is available to be seen on the last page. 

In addition toxic services are not being provided in this salon that are labeled cancer causing by the FDA called Brazilian Blow out and Keratin smoothing system that is unsafe to be in contact with and are known carcinogens. Making together is an option.

Come enjoy ear pleasing music from all genres and decades in a casual relaxed salon setting, with high end adjustable back wash sinks where your hair is washed from behind your head, where you will receive a relaxing wash while taking time for your self to relax and recharge in our quit low key space.

The owner does not double book appointments all day, you receive quality services that aren't rushed offering a unique personalized experience & more attention. Only on occasions are 2 clients scheduled together.

Salon 221 has been providing top-quality hair services to clients for 11 years since 2014, by Jennifer Who grew up in Arlington. She is polite, kind and makes everyone feel welcome.  

Jennifer has 22 years experience and is a talented stylist with diverse cutting techniques for all hair types and ages and excels in curly hair cutting, men's short hair cuts, textured hair cutting with classes by the Tony & Guy Academy in New York, natural foil placement and grey coverage and helping clients map out a way to let grey hair grow in confidently considering transitioning to natural hair. 

Jennifer provides services that aren't rushed while you take time for yourself and provides the finished result your looking for with positive reviews that span over 11 years on Yelp and Google, dedicated to helping you look and feel your best. 

additionally Jennifer is very patient and provides compassionate services to those that need it while having their hair done. 

We do ask you arrive inside before the start time provided, unfortunately the owner does not take late clients avoiding pushing back multiple appointments throughout the day, needing to stay on time and keep each client in the reserved time slot provided before the next appointment begins,  and will need to leave on time to meet other timely family obligations. 

Please schedule accordingly and leave extra travel time when coming and to receive your services. The salon has a 48 hour cancellation policy and a late cancellation policy.
