Salon 221 is a unisex salon, gender inclusive, the atmosphere is unpretentious, comfortable and relaxing.
All are welcome here despite life style and views and it is a safe space for everyone to be who they are and talk about anything of interest to them. This is a non-judgmental safe space for everyone.
commitment to sanitization and client SAFETY
We are dedicated to providing sanitary services to each client. The owner cleans the door, reception chairs and cutting chairs frequently, keeping tools and implements that are required to be sanitized between clients sanitized after each use with the proper disinfectants for mens cuts such as combs, clippers, trimmers and the attachments and skin brushes.
Hair brushes are cleaned, soaked and sanitized frequently that are only used on clean washed hair, provides a clean cutting cape for each client used once and have an automatic non alcohol skin sanitizer dispenser at the door when entering and keeps the restroom clean at all times and uses vinyl gloves during coloring.

Masking together optional in 2025, just ask when you arrive and wear your own mask.
compassonate services
The owner is comfortable with toddler hair cutting providing compassionate services to young and old or special needs.
Jennifer accommodates clients that have vertigo, neck or back issues with spray hair cuts if needed or clients that come with wet hair needing to be cut without blow dry. Clients with a fused neck have been able to safely receive a wash in the supportive upright shampoo seats.
Also on the menu is a hair wash only service for those with medical issues or recent surgery's that cannot wash their own hair or have sensory issues that need it washed in the salon occasionally.

Jennifer is a solor artist providing one to one appointments, focused on customer service and work performed behind the chair, providing a more personalized service experience. She is polite, kind, personable and makes everyone feel welcome.
Jennifer has 22 years experience and is a talented stylist with diverse cutting techniques for all hair types and length, including barber clipper & scissor cuts, pixie's, long layered and curly haircuts, textured hair cutting with classes by the Tony & Guy Academy in New York, also excelling in natural foil placement and coloring on grey hair coverage.
consultation policy
A consultation will be provided for the service being purchased & received that day.
color policy
a color consult is provided with a single process color service.
We do not use or apply at home hair color in the salon.
We do not provide at home hair color advice with haircuts or give out color formula to clients, as this is a conflict of interest and a chargeable service offered in the salon.
appointment policy
Please arrive inside before the start time provided if you didn't make any changes 48 hours in advance.
arriving on time
Unfortunately the owner does not squeeze in late clients pushing back multiple appointment throughout the day needing to leave on time, avoiding awkward appointments and rushed services that will affect client retention and customer service and work performed.
48 hour cancellation policy
Please make changes to your online appointment with the client link sent in a (sms) format text, by canceling and setting up a new one if needed prior to 48 hours avoiding late cancellation fee, paid prior to rescheduling.
Booking In Less Than 48 Hours
If you book an appointment in less than 48 hours you will not receive a message at 48 hours to confirm and will be expected to arrive inside on time and not cancel avoiding fee.
no show policy
Clients that do not show for an appointment will not be provided future appointments in the salon.
48 HOUR LATE CANCELLATION FEE/LATE ARRIVAL FEE POLICY
Fee Is 50% of the total services booked for holding the income service slot while turning clients away or arriving late and service can't be performed before the next appointment begins. Paid by check or cash left in the mail slot within 3 days of the missed appointment & prior to rescheduling for a new appointment online.
This is an honor system because the salon does not hold cards or take deposits up front to continue receiving appointments in the salon.

Scheduling Your Appointment
The booking system will confirm appointments & cancellations made by the client the way the client set up the first time using the price & description from the available services offered.
- You must choose each service needed to reserve the time slot for each to be received before the next appointment.
- Clients will need to make changes to their own appointment with the client link sent by text in your confirmation message, unless you have cancelled in less then 48 hours, a fee will need to be paid in 3 days by set terms online to receive a future appointment in the salon or to book online.
Setting Up An Appointment For Someone Else
* Please add your kids name for each appointment made if your setting it up for someone else & so it doesn't look like a double booking.
*You can select their services at the same time under one appointment if they are coming at the same time instead of making two different appointments.
