Salon 221 has guidelines for scheduling and texting outside of an appointment because anyone can text at any time.
Only in person appointments or consultation appointment with fee are made by phone or text. Review the consultation policy below.

to receive a response to schedule your appointment with the information needed,
otherwise the call or text are filtered as spam & unwanted soliciting. Thank you.
Hair consulting is provided in person, with an appointment for the service received that day and not for other services staying in the time slot provided.
Consultation without service is $35
Each service will have its own consult day of service when it's received & when clients have finalized what they want to have done, as some clients change their mind up until the appointment day and not having to consult multiple times before the service is being received.
Once you have scheduled your appointment, please arrive inside before the start time provided if you didn't make any changes 48 hours in advance and not be turned away if you arrive late. See the late cancellation policy where fee applies & rescheduling.
Please kindly provide the salon with 48 hour prior notice of your appointment to cancel or make any changes so the salon can refill the income service slot without turning clients away.
Late cancellation fee / late arrival fee is 50% of the total services booked for the time slot held for holding the income service slot without 48 hours notice while turning clients away or arriving late without enough time to provide service before the next appointment.
Fee will need to be paid prior to rescheduling for a new appointment, within 30 days left in the salon mail slot overnight. This is an honor system to continue receiving services in this salon.
Clients that do not show up for their appointment will not be provided a future appointment in the salon.
Salon 221 reserves the right to not perform a service or book an appointment.
The owner does not provide hair services to clients with keratin treatment or Brazilian Blowout performed in the last 6 months due to it being a cancer causing by the FDA and is immune compromised.
Hair color formulas are not given out to clients.
At home hair color are not used or applied in the salon.
Hair color processing time will not be extended past salon color manufacturers instructions even if you leave it on longer when coloring at home.
Visitors need to be able to safely move around independently without do hardship or accidental injury to not fault of our own. For liability reasons a stylist cannot provide caregiver services and physical supports to clients.
Visitors not being worked on will need to wait in the designated stationary reception seats provided and not in a styling chairs if your not being worked on.
If a visitor has any instances where they seem unsteady and need support to help them while in the salon with the nature of our services moving chair to chair, the client will then be asked to manage this concern by being asked to bring a caregiver, friend or companion inside the salon to stay with them and walk them around chair to chair until you leave.This will need to be provided for all future appointments to continue receiving a service in the salon, ensuring that you can safely navigate during your appointment with help from a companion without do hardship. If the visitor cannot meet this standard of care by having someone walk them around inside the salon the client will need to then seek out service elsewhere best suited for them. This salon does not provide at home hair care.
Taking pictures of products is prohibited .
Place an order for pick up or purchase in person from the salon.
Clients may not blow dry their own hair or use salon equipment because its a chargeable service we provide.
All hair salon service sales are final and non refundable, including goods sold.
Hair Adjustments
You will need to notify the salon and return to the salon within 72 hours/3 days to honor the same service without charge to have an adjustment, (if an adjustment can be made) not all serviced can be modified once done.
Hair cut adjustments - adding more layers or texture or angles around the face onto dry hair.
If you would like a wash and cut would be a new service fee and a full time slot reserved.
If you are looking to cut your hair shorter all over because you changed your mind on the length, is a new wash & hair cut service with or out without blow dry and is not an adjustment.
